Google Live Caption Chrome : Google has announced that its Live Caption feature

Google Live Caption Chrome : With a single tap, Live Caption automatically captions speech on your device. Use it on videos, podcasts, phone calls, video calls, and audio messages – even stuff you record yourself.

As the name implies, Live Caption provides real-time captions for audio playing on your device. It works with videos, podcasts, and even phone calls. This comes really handy if you have a hearing impairment or want to watch a video with audio turned off.

Other notes about Live Caption:

• Captions are currently available for English only.

• Live Caption isn't intended for calls with more than 1 other person.

• During calls, if you mute your side during the captions disclosure announcement, the announcement is muted. Please make sure that the person you're talking to knows that captions are on.

• Captions might be unavailable for some media and calling apps, since apps can opt out of sharing their audio stream with the phone's operating system.

• Live Caption works best on audio with clear speech and low background noise.

• Live Caption doesn't work on music.

• Live Caption doesn't use mobile data or an internet connection. All audio and captions are processed on the device and are never stored or sent to Google.
