NEET Examination Results 2020 : The National Testing Agency, NTA declared NEET exam results, here’s direct link to check marks NTA website www.ntaneet.nic.in. The NEET 2020 result declared through online mode on October 16 at 4.00pm. Soyeb Aftab of Odisha and Akanksha Singh of New Delhi topped the exam with a perfect score of 720 out of 720.

NEET 2020 exam was conducted on September 13 and now NEET Result date is to be announced. The NEET 2020 Scorecard will consist of the Subject-wise Marks, Percentile Score, All India Rank (AIR), Category Rank, Cutoff, and the candidate’s basic details. Candidates can also check mcc.nic.in and nta.ac.in for additional information.




NEET Examination Results 2020 : Latest Updates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) to declare the result based on the qualifying criteria provided by Medical/Dental Council of India and All India Rank based on the marks obtained in NEET (UG) 2020. A percentile rank is the percentage of score that falls below a given score in a group.

The percentile score of a candidate is calculated as follows : 100 x number of candidates appeared with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate divided by the total number of candidates appeared.

The result of NEET (UG) 2020 is valid for the academic session 2020-21 only. The record of NEET will be available up to 60 days from the date of declaration of result.

NEET Results Search : How to check

Step 1:

Visit official websites ntaneet.nic.in or mcc.nic.in

Step 2:

Search for a tab that says 'Download NEET Result 2020'

Step 3:

Click on the link and on the new window, enter the required details

Step 4:

The NTA NEET Result 2020 will be displayed on your screen.

Step 5:

Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

Candidates must regularly check updates on website of NTA, MoH & FW, Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in) and participating states/universities/institutions till counselling concludes.

NTA released the NEET 2020 answer key and accepted objections against the same till 16th September. Candidates had to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 for every question they challenged. They could use the official NEET UG answer key to predict their scores in the medical entrance exam.

Merit List and Admission

The NEET 2020 merit list will be prepared as per the directives of Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. The admission process will be carried out in accordance with the NEET medical merit list 2020 and NEET dental merit list 2020.

Last year, the cut-off for the general category was 119 marks, for SC/ST and OBC categories was 96 and for candidates with special needs was between 107 and 118.

After the results are declared, counseling for seats under 15 percent all-India quota and all seats at Central institutes, including Delhi University, BHU, Aligarh Muslim University, AFMC, ESI and deemed universities will begin soon. The Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services will conduct online counselling.

NTA was established as an autonomous organisation to conduct entrance exams for admissions and fellowships to higher educational institutes.

Reservation Policy

The candidates can check below the reservation policy that is followed for the 155 All India Quota seat allotments:
