Kerala PSC Category Number 186/2020 : Applications are invited online only from qualified candidates for selection Part Time High School Teacher (Malayalam) post with Scale of Pay Rs.19,000-43,600/- in Kerala Government Service.

Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission after `One Time Registration'. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile.

District wise (Community wise): Muslim –Kannur - 1 (One)

A Ranked list will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force for three years or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the district whichever is earlier.

Method of appointment :

Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Muslim community only).

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions).

Note : For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification.

Qualifications:

1) A Degree in Malayalam or Graduation with Malayalam as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala.

OR

A title of Oriental Learning in Malayalam awarded by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.

2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala

Exemption:

Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/ Ph.D/ M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).

M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Note :

1. Post Graduates in Malayalam are also eligible to apply provided they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T qualification.

2. B.Ed should be in the concerned language ie Malayalam.

3. The disciplines in which B.A/M.A and B.Ed Degree were obtained should be mentioned.

4. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post. Note : Rule 10 (a) II of Part II of KS & SSR will be applicable.

Mode of Submitting applications:

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The photograph uploaded in the profile should be one taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion.

The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required.

Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application, candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission.

Application once submitted is received as provisional and the details cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application submitted not in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the notification will be summarily rejected in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for.

Last date for receipt of applications :- : 02.12.2020 Wednesday upto 12 Midnight.

If written/ OMR/ Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Tickets in the last 15 days till the date of Test. The applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected absolutely.

The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the availability of Admission Tickets will be published in the Examination Calendar itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and in the mobile phones registered in it.
