epass.jantasamvad.org or delhi.gov.in : To prevent the spread of corona, the government has extended the lockdown period across the country to 3 May. During this period, only those providing essential services are allowed to travel. However, if you need to travel for any emergency work, then you can apply for online e-pass. You can show it to the police while traveling. Make sure you have a valid reason to get this e-pass. Also, some documents may also be required while traveling. Here we are telling how can apply e-pass online for 11 states of the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh.

NIC UPSC took up the initiative and developed a fully functional system for receiving online pass request from organizations, individuals and businesses for issuing passes to multiple entities for movement within the district and across the districts to provide essential services in the State. The ePass system is hosted on web and captures 22 categories of essential services such as health care, ration shop, food supply through e-commerce, telecom, postal, banking, etc.

Apply for E-Pass Online

1. Open the website https://epass.jantasamvad.org/epass/init/

2. After this you have to scroll down and select 'For e-pass in curfew' and fill all the details and submit.

2. Click Apply Epass on the Top Right Corner.

3. You have to enter the Phone Number

4. Enter the Name , Address, Type of Service.

5. Then you have to enter the travel date from and to.

6. Then enter the destination and click submit.

7. You have to submit ID Proof and any other id like license, shop id etc..

7. Please note the Epass ID for your future Reference.

13. Caregiver for a Person with Disabilities

14. Pay and Accounts office (only for salary/wagers/contingent/health and essential services related expenditure)

Summary

The applicant is required to submit a valid ID, a photograph, and a recommendation letter from their organisation. This pass will allow the person to move around the city and will need to produce it along with an ID to the police at checkpoints that have been set up in and around the city.
