This project is developed for the users to control the operation of a drilling machine through remote control.
It mainly consists of a robot, multi channel RF transmitter, RF receiver, Drilling unit and controlling unit.
The remote hand set consists of four buttons. When the user presses a specific button in the hand set, the transmitter sends corresponding RF signal and the RF receiver receives the signal and sends to the controlling section.
The controlling section controls the driver section for the corresponding operation of the motor and thus the robot works accordingly.
The drilling section can be moved vertically up and down. According to the place to be drilled, the section can be adjusted. A chuck is connected with this drilling section. The drill bit can be fitted with the chuck.
Through remote control, the robot can be moved as the desire of the user to drill in the specific area.
This type of robot can be used to drill areas where human can not enter
