The results of the Higher Secondary (HS) 2024 examination will be announced by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) on May 8, 2024. The council will announce the WB 2024 HS result at 1 pm on May 8 through a press conference and the link to view and download the Class 12 West Bengal board exam results from the official website — wbchse.wb.gov.in will be made live at 3 pm. Meanwhile, the hardcopies of the mark sheets and pass certificates will be available from 55 distribution centres including the four regional offices of the Council from May 10.

How to access WB HS 2024 Result?

West Bengal Higher Secondary result will be intimated to candidates through the official website of the examination authority.

Step I- Begin with the official portal of the Council.

Step II- Scroll down the homepage of the portal and search for Student Corner.

Step III- Under the Student Corner section, click on “Result” link.

Step IV- Result page will open. Click on secondary result 2024 link given under Recent Result section.

Step V- Now, enter your Roll No., and registration no. Click on “submit” button.

Step V- Finally, WB Secondary result will open.

Step VI- Check the result details.

Step VII- Download and print the result sheet for reference.

On the homepage of www.exametc.com and indiaresults.com, the class 12th result will be posted in name wise. The Council has announced the Class 12 exam datesheets for the 2025 exams. The West Bengal Class 12 exams in 2025 will be held between March 3 and March 18, 2025.

By 2023, the pass rate had risen to 89.55%. Out of 8,52,444 students who registered for the Uchha Madhyamik exam, 8,24,891 actually took the test. Among them, 7,37,807 managed to pass the 12th grade. A passing rate of 91.86 percent was noted for males and 87.26 percent for females.

Class 11 will begin using a semester system in all state-run and state-aided schools beginning with the current academic session (2024-25) and continuing through the 2025-26 academic session, according to an announcement by WBCHSE. After the third and fourth semesters are over, the official notice states that the board exams will be held.
