Under medical emergency, the EPFO has agreed to allow withdrawals of up to Rs 1 lakh from the EPF. This means that PF members can take out up to Rs 1 lakh from their EPF account for the treatment of cancer. This does not necessitate the submission of hospitalisation costs.

The Employee Provident Fund Organization or EPFO, the retirement fund agency, allows subscribers to withdraw money from the corpus of their Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) for certain reasons. EPF is a mandatory contribution to the salary of an individual that every organization with more than 20 employees must deduct. Subscribers can submit a withdrawal claim online through the EPFO-ifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in website. The claim is sent to the employer for approval. Once it is approved, the amount is credited to the subscriber’s account within a time period of 10 days.
Online Withdrawal of PF Amount.
* First, use your UAN and password number to log into your EPFO account.
* Then, in Online Services, select the ‘Claim (Form-31, 19 & 10C)’ option from the drop-down box.
* It then displays your personal information, such as your PAN card, Adhaar card, and bank account number. Click Verify after entering the last four digits of your bank account number.
* Select “Terms and Conditions” from the drop-down menu. Then select the option to continue online.
* The PF Advance (Form 31) option should be used. However, the rationale for making a decision ahead of time should be stated. If a cause is cited, the corona can be temporarily removed.
* Then input the desired quantity… Fill in the address. Then you must check or enter the account information. Then select Submit from the drop-down menu.
* An OTP linked to your EPF account will be provided to your PF registered cellphone number. Enter it and click the submit option.
Before moving your PF funds to this bank account, make sure you have your Owner Withdraw Permission.
In the event of an emergency, select the vehicle claim settlement process. In three days, the funds will be transferred. To apply for this, you’ll need all of your KYC paperwork.
