Join Petro‑Points with the Petro‑Canada app

How does it work?

• Join the program directly from the home screen
• Use the action menu to “Fuel up” at a station. This will start the pump and automatically collect your points.
• You can save up to five credit cards to your account, or use Apple Pay or Google Pay to pay through the app.
• Want to pay in-store? Just “Scan my points card” instead.
• Redeem your points any time. 1,000 points = $1, always.

How do I register/activate a Petro‑Points card?

Though Petro-Canada have discontinued the production of new plastic cards, if you already have a card you picked up at a station, you can still activate and use it. Just activate online or with our Petro‑Canada app.

While you can redeem points for dollars off just about any purchase you make in-store or at the pump, you can not redeem points for purchases of tobacco, vaping products, alcohol and alcohol-related gift cards. How do I redeem my Petro‑Points?

There are 3 simple ways to check your account balance:

1. Log in to your online account. Your balance will be displayed at the top of the page.
2. On your receipt. Your Petro‑Points balance appears on the bottom of your Petro‑Canada receipt.
3. Download the Petro‑Canada app. Simply log in with your online account information and your balance will be displayed at the top of the page.
