OVO Indonesia Error refers to issues with the OVO digital wallet app (the purple app used for payments and Grab). Here are the solutions for the most common errors.
1. “Oops, Something Went Wrong” / Connection Error
This is the most common error. It means the app cannot connect to the server properly.

Switch Networks: If you are on Wi-Fi, switch to Mobile Data (4G/5G). If you are on Mobile Data, toggle Airplane Mode on and off.

Clear Cache (Android):

Go to Settings > Apps > OVO.

Tap Storage.

Tap Clear Cache (Do not clear data unless you remember your login PIN).

Update the App: An outdated version will be blocked from logging in. Check the Play Store or App Store.
2. Transaction Failed but Money Deducted
If you tried to pay (Scan QR or Transfer) and it said “Failed” or “Timeout,” but your balance decreased:

Do not panic. This is a “pending reversal.”

Wait 1×24 Hours: OVO’s system usually detects the failure and auto-refunds the money to your wallet within a few hours (maximum 24 hours).

Check History: Look at your “History” tab. If the status is “Pending”, it is still processing. If it says “Failed”, the money should return shortly.

3. Login Error / OTP Not Sending
If you cannot sign in or aren’t receiving the SMS code:

Check Credit (Pulsa): Sometimes receiving an OTP requires a tiny amount of active credit on your SIM card, or at least an active period (Masa Aktif).

WhatsApp OTP: If SMS fails, check if there is an option to send the OTP via WhatsApp.

Device Limit: OVO has strict security. If you try to log in on a new phone, you must log out of the old one first, or contact support to reset your device binding.
4. “Account Blocked” or “Security Code Incorrect”

If you entered your Security Code (PIN) wrong 3 times, your account is temporarily locked for 1 hour. Wait and try again.

If it says “Account Blocked” permanently, you likely violated terms or there was suspicious activity. You must contact their call center.
