To activate your new card, please login or register on the My Kohl’s Card website. (Sorry, you are not able to activate your card on a mobile device.) You can also activate your card by presenting your photo ID and Kohl’s card at the time of your next purchase or by calling 800-954-0244.

Customers are able to activate a card as soon as 24 hours after a card has been requested, however you should not try activating until you’ve received your card in the mail.

After I activate my card, can I use it to shop today?

After activating your card, you are ready to shop at any Kohl’s location, or online at www.kohls.com.


Can I activate other cards on my Kohl’s Card account?

As the primary owner or authorized user, you can activate all cards on the account. Only a primary owner or authorized user can activate their cards online.


Can I still use my old card after I activate my new Kohl’s Card?

Upon activating your new card, your old card is not deactivated. Please call to request that your card is deactivated. Additionally, make sure to cut up and discard your old card.

A bank routing and account number will be required if you are making an ACH payment. Debit cards are also accepted. Payments made after 7:00 p.m. (central time) will post the following day.
