A viva-voce round was required of all students who passed the JNUEE PhD. The final merit list for PhD admissions will be based on a 70:30 ratio. Only 30 percent of the weight will be assigned to the viva portion of the exam. A PhD viva-voce round at the JNU was set for October 26 to November 3.
