How To Activate DBS Card

There are two primary ways to activate your DBS Card, depending on the card type:

1. Activating Credit Cards

  • Via Digibank mobile app:

    1. Log in to the Digibank mobile app.
    2. Tap on the ‘More’ tab.
    3. Under ‘Manage Cards & Loans’, tap ‘Activate Cards’.
    4. Select ‘Activate Credit Card’.
    5. Choose the credit card you want to activate.
    6. Review your request and tap ‘Activate Card’ to complete the process.

  • Via DBS/POSB ATM:

    1. Insert your new credit card into the ATM.
    2. Enter your new card PIN.
    3. Select ‘More Services’ > ‘Cards/PIN/iBanking/Phonebanking’ > ‘Activate Card’.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

2. Activating ATM/Debit Cards

  • Via digibank mobile app:

    1. Log in to the digibank mobile app.
    2. Tap on the ‘More’ tab.
    3. Under ‘Manage Cards & Loans’, tap ‘Activate Cards’.
    4. Select ‘Activate ATM/Debit Card’.
    5. Choose the ATM/Debit card you want to activate.
    6. Review your request and tap ‘Activate Card’ to complete the process.

  • Via DBS/POSB ATM:

    1. Insert your new ATM/Debit card into the ATM.
    2. Enter your new card PIN.
    3. Select ‘More Services’ > ‘Cards/PIN/iBanking/Phonebanking’ > ‘Activate Card’.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

  3. At a DBS/POSB ATM or Video Teller Machine (VTM):
    • Insert your card.
    • Select the option to reset your card PIN.
