Activate Your Online Order

If you ordered Cricket service online at cricketwireless.com, you’ll need to activate your service online.

1. Insert your SIM card BEFORE you activate.

2. Locate your order number and phone number. You can find both items in your order confirmation email or on your packing slip.

3. Go to cricketwireless.com/activate and follow the steps. You’ll need your four-digit Cricket Account PIN. Forgot your PIN? Contact Customer Support.

Cricket Wireless Activate

Activation is easy! Answer a few questions then enjoy your new Cricket service.  You will need your order number and any phone number associated with your order.

Step 1: Please select the Device Type – Apple, Android or both.

Step 2: Now Insert your SIM card into your device.

Note: Some iPhones already have a SIM card installed. If you received a SIM card kit with your Cricket device or are using an iPhone you already own, you will need to insert a SIM card.

Step 3: Turn on your device.

Step 4: Now Select your Purchase Location –  Cricket or Another Retailer

Step 5: You recently purchased your device or SIM card directly from Cricket (in-store or online).

What you should know: If you purchased your device in-store, you must activate in the store. If you purchased your device by calling Cricket Customer Care, you must also call to activate.

Other Retailer

You recently purchased your device or SIM from another retailer outside of a Cricket store or the Cricket website such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

Step 6: Now Select Existing Customer or New Customer.

Step 7: If you already have Cricket service and you are adding one or more lines to your account, you will need:

  • Your Username
  • Your Password
  • Account PIN

Step 8: If you select New Customer then add Order Number and Cricket Phone Number.

Step 9: Click on Activate Button. The Device will be activated quickly.

How to Pay with a Credit or Debit Card

  1. Enter the phone number for the account you want to pay.
  2. Enter the amount you want to pay in the Your Payment field.
  3. Enter your credit or debit card information.
  4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  5. Review your payment information. If you are satisfied with your payment information, select Submit Payment. Otherwise, select Edit to change your payment amount, then Submit Payment.
  6. You’ll see a payment confirmation screen. Keep the confirmation number for your records. We’ll also send a text to confirm your payment.

How to Pay with a Cricket Refill Card

  1. Enter the phone number for the account you want to pay.
  2. Select the blue arrow to the right of Cricket Refill Card.
  3. Enter your Refill Card number.
  4. Select Validate.
  5. Review your secure payment information. If you are satisfied with your payment information, select Submit Payment. Otherwise, select Edit to change your payment amount, then Submit Payment.
  6. You’ll see a payment confirmation screen. Keep the confirmation number for your records. We’ll also send a text to confirm your payment.

How to Pay with a Service Payment Card

  1. Enter the phone number for the account you want to pay.
  2. Select the blue arrow to the right of Service Payment Card.
  3. Enter your card information and the amount you want to pay.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
  5. Select Review Payment.
  6. Review your secure payment information. If you are satisfied with your payment information, select Submit Payment. Otherwise, select Edit to change your payment amount, then Submit Payment.
  7. You’ll see a payment confirmation screen. Keep the confirmation number for your records. We’ll also send a text to confirm your payment.

Changing Your Phone Plan

The no contract phone plans cater to different needs, and we are here to help. Changes to your plan take effect immediately, or you can choose to have your changes start on the first day of your next monthly cycle. How is that for helpful?

A few things to keep in mind when changing your rate plan:

  • You can still only change your phone plan twice per billing cycle.
  • Changing your rate plan may affect your Group Save discounts. Your discounts for the 4th and 5th lines may be reduced to $20 each.
  • Only one plan change per phone number can be scheduled to start at the next billing cycle. This can be either a rate plan change or a features change. For accounts with multiple lines, you must change the plan and features for each line individually.
  • Plan changes scheduled to start at the beginning of your next month’s billing cycle count as one of your two changes for your next cycle. This includes plan downgrades. However you can change your mind as many times as you need until the new billing cycle begins and the change is applied.
