Tsunami is the most unexpected and undesirable event which can not be predicted easily. The symptoms for Tsunami is caused inside the sea. The main factors are depth variation and vibration because of earth quake inside sea.
This project is developed for the users to predict the occurrence of Tsunami in wireless manner.
It mainly consists of depth variation sensor, vibration sensor, RF transducer, Microcontroller kit etc.
The two sensors are connected inside the sea in a particular area. The sensors sense the depth variation and vibration and sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller analyses the signal and sends corresponding signal to the RFTransmitter.
The RF Receiver is connected with the microcontroller unit in the administrator area(Outside the sea).
The microcontroller receives the signal and sends corresponding signal to the PC through USART. The PC receives the signal and stores it in a proper format. If there is any strange, it immediately communicate the broadcasting centres.
The design and port programs are written in Visual Basic. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F877
