Abstract

Electronic Auto Dipper project is developed for the users to control the operation of a headlight automatically.

It consists of a light sensor, controlling unit, driver and relay, headlight.

The light sensor is connected with the controlling unit. The controlling unit operates a relay. The high and low beam filaments of the bulb are connected with the relay.

When light from the other vehicles falls on the light sensor, according to the intensity of the light, the sensor sends signal to the controlling unit. The controlling unit analyses the signal and operates the relay. If the intensity is high, the control unit operates the relay to operate the high beam filament and if it is very low, it operates the low beam filament.

If the light stops, the control unit operates the relay to operate the high beam filament. Thus the high and low beam are automatically controlled accordingly with the light from the other vehicle in front
