The Ghanapriya Women’s College, located in Imphal, is a well-known state college that has earned NAAC accreditation. The college was created to look after the young women in state co-ed schools and also fulfil the long-term desires of educators and thinkers who, for years, had been asking for a college devoted exclusively to young women. The college was named Ghanapriya Women’s College after Mr. H. Dwijamani Dev Sharma’s mother, and he generously donated a sum of rupees one lakh. Many people shared in his dedication to the creation of the college, but none was as kind as Mr. Sharma.
