How To Activate Discovery Plus on Sky

To activate Discovery+ on your Sky device (Sky Q, Sky Glass, or Sky Stream), Press the Home button on your Sky remote. Navigate to Apps and select Discovery+. Visit sky.com/discoveryplus-activate on your mobile device.

✅ Eligibility

Discovery+ is available at no extra cost for eligible Sky TV customers, including those with Sky Q, Sky Glass, or Sky Stream. However, customers with Sky Q Essentials, Sky Q Lite, or Sky+ are not eligible for the free offer and will need to subscribe directly to Discovery+.

  1. Access the Discovery+ App
    Press the Home button on your Sky remote. Navigate to Apps and select Discovery+. Alternatively, say “Get Discovery Plus” into your Sky Glass or Sky Q/Sky Stream voice remote .

  4. Sign In or Create an Account
    Sign in with your existing Discovery+ account or create a new one. If you already have a Discovery+ subscription, ensure you cancel any existing paid subscriptions to avoid double billing.

  5. Start Watching
    Once activated, you can start enjoying Discovery+ content directly on your Sky device.

  • Restart Your Sky Device: Press the Standby button on your Sky Q box or turn off your Sky Glass/Stream device. Wait for a few minutes before turning it back on.
