To activate your Jackson Hewitt Serve card, you can use the online portal, the mobile app, or a dedicated phone line.
1. Activate Online (Recommended)
If you received your card in the mail after your tax appointment, follow these steps:

Go to the official login page: secure.serve.com/login/jacksonhewitt.

Sign In: Use the username and password you created during the “Online Account Setup” email process.

Click Activate: Once logged in, look for the card activation notification (you may need to click the arrow/scrolling icon to find the “Activate” button).

Confirm Details: You will need to enter the card number and the 4-digit security code (CSC) from the back of the card.
2. Activate via Phone
If you prefer not to use the website, you can activate your card by calling the automated service:

Call 1-833-729-9646 and follow the voice prompts to enter your card information.
3. Using the Serve Mobile App

Download the Serve Mobile App (available on iOS and Android).

Log in with your Jackson Hewitt account credentials.

The app will typically prompt you to activate your new personalized card as soon as you log in.

Important Notes

Temporary vs. Personalized: If you have a temporary card given to you at a Jackson Hewitt office, it is already active for limited use. However, you must complete the online setup to receive and activate your personalized card, which unlocks full features like ATM access and bill pay.

Email Link: If you haven’t set up your login yet, search your inbox for an email from
servicing@app.serve.comwith the subject “Please Set Up Your Online Account.” This contains a unique link sent on the day of your tax appointment. -
