If you are approved for instant spend, your temporary £500 credit limit becomes available to you immediately. Your new Amazon Mastercard will be added to your Amazon wallet as the default payment method, ready to be used on Amazon.co.uk. We will also add your sign-up Gift Card to your account automatically.
Please bear in mind that all the benefits, including the Gift Card and the reward points (where applicable), will be assigned to the Amazon account you applied from. You will receive an email with further instructions and information on how to use your card, set up your online account, etc.

When your physical card arrives, which can take up to 10 days, you will receive your full card number and will be able to complete the card activation process and use your card outside Amazon.co.uk, anywhere MasterCard is accepted. For that, you will need to activate your card in your Online Account Manager at http://www.newday.co.uk/myamazon . Please go to Your Account page, then select Activate your card. After you have activated your card, your full credit limit will become available to you.
If you do not qualify for instant spend, you will need to wait for your physical card to arrive. This can take up to 10 days from approval. You will receive your sign-up Gift Card as well as all other benefits mentioned above after you activate your Amazon Mastercard.
Before you can use contactless, you must make one chip and PIN transaction. If you make multiple contactless transactions within a short period of time, contactless may stop working. If this happens, you’ll need to make another a chip and PIN transaction to verify that you are the cardholder.

If you got approved for Amazon Platinum Mastercard, you will earn rewards points for every purchase you make: cardholders with an applicable Prime membership will get 3 points and other cardholders will get 1.5 points for every £2 spend on Amazon.co.uk. All cardholders will get 0.5 points for every £2 spent outside Amazon.co.uk. Once you have reached 1000 points, a £10 Gift Card will be loaded to your Amazon account automatically with your next statement. You can view your reward points for each month when your e-statement is ready by logging into your Online Account Manager at https://portal.newdaycards.com/amazon/login
Amazon Classic Mastercard cardholders may be eligible for an upgrade to the Amazon Platinum Mastercard after 12 months (subject to criteria).
