To Activate MotorTrend Demand on Roku, Fire TV etc, login into www.motortrendondemand.com/activate and enter the Activation Code as displayed on TV Screen or QR the code will link to the activation process.
If you are not already logged in then you will be prompted to log in and then the code can be entered. If needed, there is a “Get a New Code” button on the screen of the TV connected device.
Account Sign In & Activation Link – MotorTrend
On our TV-connected apps (Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Xbox), existing customers should highlight the “Sign In” option to proceed.
Logging into an account on TV-connected devices by using an on-screen keyboard can be slow and easy to make typos. We are adding an Activation Link to make this easier on most platforms. When opening our app on TV Connected devices the Sign In button goes to a screen to choose between using “Use a computer/mobile” to activate on a computer or mobile device using a text or QR code, and “Sign in on this device” to use the on-screen keyboard to enter the login information.
The text code can be entered on an activation page on our website or QR the code will link to the activation process. If you are not already logged in then you will be prompted to log in and then the code can be entered. If needed, there is a “Get a New Code” button on the screen of the TV connected device.
It is important that the “Activate Your Device” screen stay up on the TV Connected device while activating it on the web page so that the device login can complete the process.
Users using social login can take advantage of this feature, and fans who want to sign on these devices with a MT password can also do so.
Subscriptions through The Roku Channel
If you created your subscription using your Roku TV, there is the possibility that you have a subscription in “The Roku Channel” to view MotorTrend shows there. This login will NOT work with other platforms, it only works on The Roku Channel at this time.
Amazon Prime Channel Account
If you created your subscription using your Amazon Fire TV, there is the possibility that you have an Amazon Prime Channel subscription account to view MotorTrend shows
This login will NOT work with other platforms, it only works on the Amazon Prime Channel at this time
MotorTrend in the Apple TV App
MotorTrend is now available in the Apple TV App in the U.S. This means that fans can subscribe to MotorTrend’s content as a channel inside of the Apple TV App. Check out Apple’s site for which platforms the Apple TV App is available.
This is different than the MotorTrend+ app on the Apple TV. Both have access to MotorTrend’s vast stable of world-leading automotive series and specials, but the MotorTrend+ service direct from MotorTrend includes Live events and some other features in our mobile apps and website.
Does my Comcast Xfinity cable subscription include a MotorTrend+ subscription?
Comcast cable packages may include the MotorTrend TV channel. That is a separate service from MotorTrend+, even when you use our service on your compatible Flex or X1 device. On MotorTrend+ we have a library of originally produced content as well as some licensed content that you may have seen around the motoring world, including possibly on one of Comcast’s channels.
The service’s website will let you browse all of our currently available content so you can see what we offer. Existing MotorTrend+ subscribers should choose Sign In after launching the app.
If your cable package includes the MotorTrend TV channel, you can use your Comcast login information to sign in to the MT GO app and at watch.motortrend.com.
MotorTrend TV Network vs. MotorTrend+ premium streaming
While both are part of the MotorTrend family, and they share some content, they are separate
Your cable or satellite TV package may include MotorTrend TV. If so, you can also go to watch.MotorTrend.com and authenticate with your pay-TV login to watch. This will let you watch the live channel and some recent episodes. You can also use the MT GO app
MotorTrend+ is our premium streaming service that has limited free content available to stream on the web and mobile devices without an account. The apps are free to download, but in order to access the full library of our content, you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription. You can watch on the connected streaming devices and gaming consoles we support
How do I cancel my MotorTrend subscription?
As a monthly subscriber, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period and you can continue to watch premium content until that billing period ends.
If you are an annual subscriber, you may also cancel your account at any time. You will continue to have access to premium content until the annual plan period ends. We do not offer a pro-rated refund given the discounted nature of the package, but you will continue to have access until your plan period ends.
To cancel your subscription:
- Sign in to your account on our website
- Locate the “Manage” link next to your subscription on your account profile page (“Account” option from the drop-down in the upper right)
- If you get an error message or do not receive an email confirming your cancellation (please double check your spam folder), then please send us an email so we can assist you or verify that it is already canceled
Note: If you are not already signed in to your account, sign in and locate “ACCOUNT” under your user name in the top right-hand corner of the MotorTrend page.
