To activate your Macy’s Credit Card, you can do it quickly online or by phone using these official methods:

1. Online Activation (Recommended):

   • Visit macys.com/wallet.

   • Click the black “Activate Card” button.

   • Sign in with your Macy’s account or create one if you don’t already have it.

   • On the Macy’s Credit Card Verification page, enter your card information to activate it. Once submitted, your card will be ready for use.

2. Alternate Activation Page:

   • You can also go to the Macy’s Credit Card Gateway at macys.com/creditservice/gateway and follow the prompts to activate your new card.​

3. Phone Activation:

   • Call 1‑800‑289‑6229 (available daily 10 AM–10 PM ET). Follow the automated system or speak with a representative to activate your card.​

4. Card Registration (Optional):

   • To manage your Macy’s Credit Card online or make payments, register your card with Citi Retail Services at citiretailservices.citibankonline.com.​

Once activated, you can add the card to your Macy’s Wallet for seamless checkout and rewards integration.

How to add Macy’s card to the Macy’s app Wallet

To add your Macy’s Credit Card to the Macy’s app Wallet, follow these official steps:

1. Download and Open the Macy’s App:

   • Install the Macy’s app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Open it and sign in with your Macy’s account credentials.

2. Navigate to Your Wallet:

   • Tap on the Account icon (bottom right corner), then select Wallet from the menu.

3. Add Your Macy’s Card:

   • Under the Credit Cards section, tap Add a Credit Card. Enter your Macy’s Credit Card number, name as it appears on the card, and security code (CVV). Some cards may require the last four digits of your SSN for verification.​​

4. Save Your Card:

   • After entering the required details, tap Add Card. Your card will be saved in your Wallet for future in-store or online purchases.​

5. Enable Macy’s Pay (Optional):

   • If you’re a Macy’s Credit Cardholder, you can turn on Macy’s Pay by verifying your card. This allows you to generate a secure barcode in the app to make purchases in-store without needing the physical card.​

6. Set as Default Payment (Optional):

   • You can set your Macy’s Card as the default payment method to automatically apply it during checkout and track Star Rewards points more easily.​

Once added, your card will appear in the Wallet section of the Macy’s app, allowing you to shop, redeem offers, and use Macy’s Pay directly from your phone.
