To activate your new Lebara SIM, Go to lebara.com.au/activate and enter your Lebara number and last 4 digits of the ICCID number printed on your SIM Pack. Remember to tick ‘PORT IN’ if you would like to port your number.
Follow the steps required and your SIM should be active. If you require any assistance, feel free to call us at 1300 126 122.

Activating a new prepaid SIM

After you purchase a Starter Pack, you have 60 days to activate your SIM before it expires. When you activate the SIM, you’ll need to provide us with your name, address, email address and valid identification.

If you do not have any of the above ID Types, you can use the approved credit card for ID verification and there would be a pre-auth charge on your account of $1.00 which would be reversed to the same account.

If you’re not an Australian resident, an international passport is another identification we accept

If you don’t have any of the above types of ID, you can also use your Credit Card (this form of ID will incur a pre-authorization charge of $1.00 on your credit card for verification purposes

How do I renew my plan?

If you have the correct balance on your Lebara SIM card, prepaid plans are renewed automatically

An SMS is sent reminder or an email if you purchased the plan online, before your plan renews automatically. If you don’t want to renew your plan, follow the prompts in the SMS

If you bought your plan online, you can choose to disable auto renew on MyLebara

What if I don’t have the correct balance?

If you don’t have enough funds for automatic renewal, you’ll receive an SMS alert letting you know your plan won’t be renewed. If you want to add a new plan, you’ll need to top-up and text the opt in code of the plan to 38885.

How do I check the balance of my plan? 

To check the balance of your plan, log in to your MyLebara account online or via the app. You can also dial 5588 to listen to your plan and credit balance.

How do I activate my voicemail?

Voicemail is automatically activated on your SIM card.

Want to listen to your messages or personalize your greeting?

Dial 121 and follow the instructions
If you’ve deactivated your voicemail and would like to reactivate it, dial 1211

How do I deactivate voicemail?

Dial 1210 from your Lebara number and press the call button.

How can I turn on call forwarding?

Unfortunately, Call Forwarding isn’t available at the moment.

How much does it cost to use voicemail?

Calls to voicemail are charged at national PAYG rates. If you have a plan with UK minutes, voicemail calls will come out of your plan’s minutes.
