Monday Night Football is not airing on ABC nationally tonight because ABC only broadcasts a select number of “simulcast” games each season, and tonight’s game (Week 13) is scheduled as an ESPN exclusive.
Instead of football, ABC is airing “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” starting at 8:00 PM ET.
Here is how you can watch the game tonight:
The Game: New York Giants vs. New England Patriots
Kickoff: 8:15 PM ET
National Channels: ESPN (Main broadcast) and ESPN2 (“ManningCast” with Peyton & Eli)
Streaming: ESPN+, NFL+ (mobile only)
Also Read : Madden 26 Superstar Mode Not Working
Exceptions (Local Viewers)
If you live in the local market of either team, the game is available on a local over-the-air channel, though it may not be ABC in both cities:
New York City area: Tune to WWOR-TV (My9).
Boston area: Tune to WCVB (ABC 5).
Why isn’t it on ABC?
The current NFL broadcast contract does not put every Monday night game on ABC. ABC typically simulcasts games during the first few weeks of the season, selected mid-season games, and the final weeks (December/January). Tonight, the network has prioritized its holiday programming lineup.
