Why is My PSAT Score Not Showing Up | Account or Linking Issues

If your PSAT score isn’t showing up, don’t worry — this happens to a lot of students for a few common reasons. On your College Board dashboard, make sure you’re in the “My Scores” section.

Let’s go through the possible causes and what to do 👇

🕐 1. Scores Haven’t Been Released Yet

  • The College Board releases PSAT/NMSQT scores on specific dates, which vary slightly by state and test administration.

  • For example, if you took the test in October 2025, scores typically come out in early to mid-December 2025.

  • If it’s before that date, the score just isn’t live yet.

👤 2. You’re Logged Into the Wrong Account

  • Many students accidentally have multiple College Board accounts (e.g., one made by their school, another personally).

  • Log out and try signing in with any other email you might have used when registering for the PSAT.

  • On your College Board dashboard, make sure you’re in the “My Scores” section.

🏫 3. Your School Hasn’t Uploaded or Released Scores Yet

  • Some schools hold scores for a few days before releasing them to students.

  • Ask your school counselor or test coordinator if they’ve received score reports yet.

🧩 4. Data Mismatch Between Test and Account

If the information you entered on test day (like name, date of birth, or email) doesn’t match your College Board account exactly, the system might not link your scores automatically.
You can:

  • Log into your account.

  • Go to “Add Scores” and manually enter your access code (provided by your school).

  • Or contact College Board Support for help linking your test.

🌐 5. Technical or System Glitches

  • Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.

  • Some users report success using Chrome incognito mode.

  • Check again in a few hours — the site can be overloaded when scores first release.

If you’ve checked the release schedule and tried troubleshooting your College Board account, your best next step is to contact your school counselor or the College Board’s customer service for direct assistance.
