Important Note on Scams
Be extremely cautious if you receive a call from an 800 number claiming to be Wells Fargo. Scammers frequently use a technique called “spoofing” to make their calls appear to be from a legitimate source.
If a caller asks for your password, a one-time access code, or other sensitive information, it’s a scam. Hang up and call one of the official numbers listed above directly to ensure you are speaking with a legitimate representative.
