While the game is technically “online,” the Social and Friends lists are currently disabled or unstable. If you are trying to “fix” the issue on your end, please note that this is a server-side update, and standard troubleshooting (like restarting your router) won’t restore your friends list until NVIDIA/VRChat completes the work.
