  • Users report that when trying to buy, the payment gets declined or “access denied” even though the card/bank is fine.

  • Sellers report their earnings are stuck in “pending balance” and they cannot withdraw funds.

  • Some of these problems are caused by platform-wide glitches: for example, Vinted acknowledged a payment glitch linked to their payment-provider Mangopay.

✅ What you can try to fix it

  1. Check payment method and account details

    • Ensure your card is valid, not expired, has sufficient funds and is accepted by Vinted in your region.

    • If buying: try a different payment method (another card, PayPal if available) as cards sometimes get flagged.

    • If selling: ensure your bank account details are correct and you’ve met any verification/KYC requirements for withdrawals.

  2. Check for platform issues or outages

    • If many users are reporting similar problems, likely Vinted has a technical issue. Patience might be required.

  3. Update the app / clear cache / try another device or browser

  5. Contact Vinted Support
