Browse to viaplay.com/activate and enter the code you see on your TV. The code consists of four characters and can contain both letters and numbers. After activating the code, follow the instructions and log into your account.

How do I activate Viaplay on my TV?

To activate Viaplay on your Smart TV, Apple TV, or Game Console, follow these steps.

1. Get the Code

1. Open the Viaplay app on your TV or device.

2. Select “Log in”.

3. A 4-digit code should appear on your TV screen. (Do not close this screen).

2. Activate on your Mobile/PC

1. On your phone or computer, go to viaplay.com/activate.

   • Note: If that link redirects you to a “Not Available” page, try your specific region’s link:

     • Sweden: viaplay.se/activate

     • Norway: viaplay.no/activate

     • Denmark: viaplay.dk/activate

     • Finland: viaplay.fi/activate

     • Netherlands: viaplay.com/nl-nl/activate

2. Log in with your Viaplay email and password.

3. Enter the 4-digit code from your TV screen into the boxes.

4. The TV screen should refresh automatically within a few seconds and log you in.

Troubleshooting

• “Code Expired”: The code only lasts for a few minutes. If it fails, go back on your TV and press “Log in” again to generate a new code.

• “Service Not Available”: Viaplay is strictly region-locked. If you are trying to activate this from a country where Viaplay does not operate (or using a VPN that is detected), the activation page will not load.

• US / UK Users: Viaplay has changed operations in these regions.

  • USA: Viaplay is now largely available as a channel on Amazon Prime Video, The Roku Channel, or Xfinity. You usually log in with those provider accounts, not the separate Viaplay app.

  • UK: Viaplay Sports is now Premier Sports. You likely need to use the Premier Sports app.
