Vercel Status | Vercel We Encountered an Internal Error. Please Try Again

As of today, March 2, 2026, Vercel is currently experiencing an incident affecting several services. High failure rates for deployments and serverless functions.

Current Status (March 2, 2026)

Vercel has officially identified an issue causing internal errors, deployment failures, and function invocation issues.

  • Primary Issue: High failure rates for deployments and serverless functions.

  • Most Affected Region: Dubai (dxb1). If your project is assigned to this region, you are likely seeing the “Internal Error” message frequently.

  • Secondary Issues: Some users are also reporting degraded performance with logs and traces.

Suggested Workarounds

Vercel’s engineering team is actively working on a fix, but in the meantime, you can try the following:

  • Change Your Region: If your “Vercel Functions” region is set to Dubai (dxb1), try switching it to a different region (e.g., Washington D.C. iad1 or Frankfurt fra1) in your Project Settings and redeploying.

  • Check Static IPs: If you use Static IPs for your outbound connections, Vercel noted that these were specifically failing earlier today; ensuring your configuration is updated or temporarily disabling this if possible may help.

  • Wait and Retry: Since this is a “Platform Error” (500), it is transient and often resolves once their internal mitigation is fully rolled out.
