VALOROUS Champions 2021 has been qualified by all participating teams.

It all comes down to Champions in Riot’s VCT 2021, the first official tournament circuit for VALORANT that the company has created.

The first VALORANT global champion will be decided in December when 16 players from around the world compete in a two-week tournament.

Teams can earn circuit points and qualify for the year-end tournament by competing in Challengers and Masters events throughout the year.

As a result of accumulating circuit points throughout the year, eleven teams from North America, Europe, Brazil, Southeast Asia, Korea, and Japan will be eligible to compete for the title of Champions. There will be an additional automatic qualifier in the form of the VCT Masters Berlin champion.

As the champion of Masters Berlin, Gambit was automatically qualified for Champions. A near-flawless tournament run by the Russian team culminated in a convincing 3-0 victory over Envy in the championship match.

Acend’s performance at Masters Berlin in the quarterfinals was just enough to get the EU team into Champions. To claim first place, Acend defeated regional rivals Fnatic (350 points) and G2 Esports (200 points) (325).

To get to Champions, Fnatic was forced to rely on Gambit. The team was in jeopardy of falling further behind in the circuit point standings after missing out on a trip to Masters Berlin. However, as a result of Gambit’s victory in the tournament, EMEA was given an additional invitation to Champions.
