UA523 Error BNA | How to Fix Error UA523

Error UA523 is a common technical glitch in the BNA+ app that usually occurs during the identity validation or login phase. It essentially means the app’s request to the server timed out or failed to verify your credentials against the national database (RENAPER).

How to Fix Error UA523

Try these steps in order to clear the communication “handshake” between your phone and the bank:

  1. Clear App Cache (Most Effective):

    • Go to your phone Settings > Apps > BNA+.

    • Select Storage and tap Clear Cache (and “Clear Data” if cache alone doesn’t work).

    • Restart the app and try logging in again.

  2. Update the App:

    • Check the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to ensure you are on the latest version. Banco Nación frequently pushes updates to fix these “UA” errors.

  3. Check Your Connection:

    • The app is very sensitive to IP changes. If you are on Wi-Fi, try switching to Mobile Data (or vice versa).

    • Ensure any VPN or AdBlocker is turned off, as these often trigger security blocks.

  4. Date & Time Settings:

    • Ensure your phone is set to “Automatic Date and Time.” If your phone’s clock is even a few seconds off from the bank’s server, the security token will fail.

If the Error Persists

If none of the above work, the bank’s official protocol is to have you contact their technical support team directly because it may be an issue with your specific user profile in their database.

  • Email: Send an email to soportebnamas@bna.com.ar.

  • What to include:

    • Your full name and DNI.

    • Your phone model (e.g., Samsung S21, iPhone 13).

    • A screenshot of the UA523 error.
