Until Saturday night’s game against Nebraska, Michigan had not been down. The Wolverines made the right decisions down the stretch to preserve their perfect record.

Despite being down 13-0 at the break, the Cornhuskers came out strong in the second half, scoring 22 points to go ahead. Nebraska, on the other hand, was unable to claim a much-needed signature victory because of costly errors.
Michigan’s Hassan Haskins ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries, while quarterback Cade McNamara threw for 255 yards and a touchdown for the Wolverines. Even though Martinez threw for 291 yards and ran for 38 more in the second half, his two interceptions cost him dearly.

It’s now 6-0 for the Wolverines, who will play their first ranked opponent later this month when they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Nebraska now has a record of 3-4, with all four of its defeats coming by a solitary goal..
