To setup a TikTok account:
- Download TikTok from Google Play or the App Store.
- Open the app.
- Tap Profile in the bottom right.
- Choose a method to sign up.
Note: Make sure your email and phone number are valid as they are needed for log in and password recovery.

With many of us spending more time at home, we’ve been looking at how we can bring the joy of TikTok to people on their TV. That’s why we’re excited to launch the new TikTok TV app for Google and Android TVs, specifically created for a home-viewing experience, so people can be entertained, together.
As of today, people with Google and Android TV OS devices in the UK, France and Germany can view the most liked and viewed content on TikTok alongside a range of content from our most popular content categories.
How to set up TikTok on your Google TV or Android OS TV:
- To access TikTok on your TV, first open Google Play and search for TikTok.
- Click to install the TikTok app.
- Once it is installed, open the app.
- From here you can either log in or click “watch now” to get straight into enjoying TikTok’s content immediately.
