There have been recent reports of Tradovate localized issues, specifically regarding market data restrictions and prop firm account freezes (notably with Apex Trader Funding and Take Profit Trader) over the last few days.

Troubleshooting “Not Working” Issues

If your platform isn’t loading or you can’t see price action, check these specific fixes for today:

  1. Clock Synchronization (The #1 Fix):

    If the login button is unresponsive or the Captcha fails, your PC clock likely drifted.

    • Right-click your Windows clock -> Adjust date/time -> Click Sync now.

  2. The “Task Cancelled” Error (NinjaTrader):

    This usually means the login server is timing out. Restart your router and then the platform. If it persists, ensure Multi-Provider Mode is enabled in Tools > Options > General to allow a fresh connection setup.

  3. Restricted Country Check:

    Tradovate recently updated their CME data access list. If you are in a restricted region, your data may be cut off. Apex Trader Funding has noted they are manually reinstating data for users in non-sanctioned countries who were accidentally caught in the sweep.

  4. Prop Firm Specific Issues:

    If you are trading an evaluation account, the Tradovate “core” might be fine, but the firm’s specific routing might be down. Check your prop firm’s dashboard directly for “Maintenance” notices.
