If you are trying to watch something on Torrentio right now, it appears the service is experiencing significant instability again. Go to Settings > Apps > Stremio > Force Stop. Then clear the Cache (not Data) and relaunch.

There have been widespread reports throughout this week (late Jan 2026) of Torrentio failing to load streams, showing “No Results,” or throwing “Bad HTTP Status” errors. This is likely due to server overload from high weekend traffic.

Ways to Fix it

1. The “Alternative” Fix (Fastest Solution)

Since Torrentio is down/unstable, the best fix is to install a backup addon that does the exact same thing. You do not need to uninstall Torrentio; just add one of these so you have a “Plan B” source in your list:

  • Comet: Currently the most reliable alternative. It works almost identically to Torrentio.

  • KnightCrawler: Another reliable scraper that picks up where Torrentio leaves off.

  • MediaFusion: Good for live sports and specific regional content, but also handles movies/shows.

How to install them:

  1. Go to the Stremio Addons menu.

  2. Search for “Comet” or “KnightCrawler.”

  3. Click Configure (you will need to paste your Real-Debrid API key if you use one).

  4. Install it. Now, when you click a movie, you will see a new list of links under the “Comet” or “KnightCrawler” heading, even if Torrentio’s list is empty.

2. Check Your Real-Debrid Subscription

If you use Real-Debrid (RD) and no links are showing up, double-check that your subscription hasn’t expired.

  • Symptom: You see the movie posters, but when you click them, it says “No Streams Found.”

  • Test: Go to the Real-Debrid website and try to download a random torrent manually. If it asks you to pay, your sub is dead, and that is why Stremio isn’t working.

3. The “Reload” Trick

If you don’t want to install new addons, you can try to force a refresh, though this is hit-or-miss right now:

  • On PC: Press Ctrl + R to reload the app.

  • On Android TV/FireStick: Go to Settings > Apps > Stremio > Force Stop. Then clear the Cache (not Data) and relaunch.
