The Division 2 Server Status | When Will Servers Up?

Based on the current schedule for December 19, 2025, The Division 2 servers are currently DOWN for scheduled weekly maintenance. You are currently in the middle of the downtime window.

When Will Servers Be Back Up?

The servers are expected to come back online at 5:00 PM IST (which is roughly 1 hour and 55 minutes from now).

Here is the breakdown of the schedule:

  • Maintenance Started: 2:00 PM IST (09:30 AM CET / 03:30 AM ET).

  • Expected Duration: 3 Hours.

  • Target Uptime: 5:00 PM IST (12:30 PM CET / 06:30 AM ET).

Why are they down?

This is a standard weekly maintenance. According to the patch notes released this morning, they are fixing issues related to the ongoing Winter Event 2025 (specifically the Krampus spawns and the “Sleigher” snowball gun bugs).

Patch Notes

This maintenance is primarily a Hotfix addressing bugs from the Winter Event launch earlier this week.

However, there is one “nerf” that might affect you if you were grinding for the new masks:

1. The “Farming” Nerf (Loot Exploit Fix)

  • What changed: The developers are patching the “exploit” methods used to farm Winter Keys and Krampus spawns too quickly.

  • Impact: If you were using a specific method to force-spawn Krampus repeatedly for keys (to open those Winter Caches for Exotics like the Eagle Bearer or Ouroboros), that method will likely no longer work. You will have to earn keys at the intended (slower) rate.

2. Bug Fixes (The Main Focus)

  • Winter Caches UI: Fixed an issue where the menu for opening Winter Apparel Caches would bug out or not show your items correctly.

  • Stability: General server stability fixes to handle the influx of players for the Winter Event.

Quick Summary of Recent Changes (If you missed the Dec 16 update)

Just in case you haven’t played since Tuesday, remember that the major update earlier this week did change a few things:

  • Buff: The “Combat Medic” talent bug was fixed (it was lasting too long), so it might feel like a slight nerf if you relied on it glitching.

  • Buff: Companion Skills (like the drone or turret causing “Companion” talent procs) received AI improvements to be more responsive.
