If you experience Nintendo Switch Game Card Error, try either power cycling the home network or moving closer to the router. If the connection fails again, try turning off password requirements for the network. If all steps fail, check network settings for the home network. The Switch is unable to link a new Nintendo account to the console.

Notes:
Nintendo Switch systems are compatible only with game cards made for these systems. They are not compatible with game cards intended for other systems.
In order for Nintendo Switch to properly read game cards, these must be inserted into the game card slot with the label facing the same direction as the console screen.
Ensure your system has the latest system update installed.
Check for any available software updates for the problematic games.
Situation not resolved
If multiple game cards cannot be read, the Nintendo Switch system will need to be repaired. For testing purposes, please include at least two of the non-working game cards.
