SuperBox Live TV Not Working | Most Common Solution

If your Superbox “Blue TV” or “Live TV” app is not working, it is likely due to a recent wave of server maintenance updates (reported around Nov 20–24) or a cache conflict on your specific box.

Here is the step-by-step fix to get your channels back.

1. The “Clear Data” Fix (Most Common Solution)

If your guide is empty, channels are black, or the app crashes, you need to reset the app without resetting the whole box.

  1. Go to the Settings (gear icon) on the Superbox home screen.

  2. Select Apps $\rightarrow$ See All Apps.

  3. Find Blue TV (or Blue TV v2 / Elite 2.0 depending on your model).

  4. Click “Clear Cache” and then “Clear Data”

  5. Restart your box (unplug it for 1 minute)

  6. Open Blue TV again. It will re-download the channel list (this may take a few minutes)

2. Check for App Updates

Superbox frequently changes the “active” app version to evade server blocks.

  1. Go to the App Store (folder icon) on your box.

  2. Look for the Cloud or Arrow icon next to Blue TV or Blue VOD.

  3. If an update is available, install it.

  4. Note: If “Blue TV” is completely dead, check if there is a new app in the store called “Blue TV v2” or “Backup TV” and try that instead.

3. Fix the “Date & Time” Bug

If the date on your box is wrong, the server will reject your connection (Authorization Failed).

  • Go to Settings $\rightarrow$ Device Preferences $\rightarrow$ Date & Time.

  • Ensure “Automatic Date & Time” is ON.

  • If it is already on, turn it OFF, set the wrong time manually, and then turn it ON again to force a re-sync.

4. ISP Blocking (Black Screen)

If the menus load but the video is black, your Internet Service Provider might be blocking the IPTV signal.

  • Test: If you have a mobile hotspot on your phone, connect the Superbox to your phone’s hotspot temporarily.

  • Result: If it works on the hotspot but not your home Wi-Fi, your ISP is blocking it. You will likely need to use a VPN to fix this.
