SSI Payment Schedule 2022 : First of Two September 2022 SSI Checks Soon
The Social Security Administration has revealed their payment schedule for 2022, which is good news for the millions of Americans who receive SSI and Social Security benefits.
An individual’s maximum monthly SSI benefit is $841.
Unless there is a holiday that falls on the first of the month, SSI payments will be issued on that day. If such is the case, it will be sent out on the last working day of the previous month.
Billions of people got their February 1st payout yesterday, and the next one isn’t due until March 1st, 2022.

Who gets two SSI checks in September?
Those who are 65 or older, blind, or crippled, or who have a low income are the target demographic for this assistance programme. Individuals with more than $2,000 in assets and couples with more than $3,000 in assets are ineligible for the benefits.
Ohio’s Democrat Sherrod Brown and Republican Rob Portman presented legislation last spring to increase such caps.
However, Brown and Portman have proposed raising the restrictions to $10,000 for individuals and $20,000 for couples, which would be the first increase since 1984.
