To activate SoundCloud App in Xbox One, login into soundcloud.com/activate and you will be prompted to activation page to enter your code.
You will need to have the latest version of the SoundCloud app downloaded on your mobile device and already be signed in to your SoundCloud account to pair your account on Xbox.
The SoundCloud app is now available on Xbox One. To get started, visit the Windows Store on Xbox and add the SoundCloud app.
The Xbox One app has the standard Library, Discover, and Search options. As time goes on, we look forward to implementing even more improvements.
How to Activate SoundCloud on Xbox
Install the SoundCloud App
On your Xbox One console, go to the Microsoft Store and download the official SoundCloud app. Launch it after installation.
Get Your Activation Code
Open the SoundCloud app on your Xbox. You’ll see a short activation code displayed on the screen.
Visit the Activation Website
On another device—like your phone or computer—open a web browser and go to soundcloud.com/activate.
Sign In & Enter Code
Log in to your SoundCloud account (the same one you use on Xbox). Enter the code shown on your Xbox screen into the activation page. This links your account to the app on the console.
Complete Activation
Once the code is submitted (usually within a few seconds), the Xbox app will refresh and be signed in to your account.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
Expiration Window
Activation codes are time-sensitive—typically valid for only about 5 minutes. If it times out, you’ll have to request a new code via the app.
App Version
Make sure you’re using the latest version of the SoundCloud app on your Xbox. An outdated version might cause activation failures.
Upgrade for Full Features
The activation process merely links your account. For full features (like offline playback or ad-free listening), you may need to subscribe to SoundCloud Go+ or Pro.
To Activate your SoundCloud account :
1. Open the SoundCloud app on Xbox. You will see a code to enter on your mobile device.
2. Open your mobile browser on your device and head to soundcloud.com/activate.
3. On iOS: Open the link directly in the app. You will need to have the latest version of the SoundCloud app downloaded on your mobile device and already be signed in to your SoundCloud account to pair your account on Xbox- you can then enter the code displayed on your Xbox screen
4. On Android: open the link in your mobile browser. Make sure you’re already signed into your SoundCloud account: you will be prompted to a page to enter your code
This app is available in all territories, but Go+ subscribers will have access to the full catalogue only where Go/Go+ plans are available for purchase. Free users will not be able to upgrade through the app right now, but can use the app without a Go subscription. We will not have any download functionality for the time being.

* Discover: Stream, Charts, and our brand new feature, The Upload.
* Search: Access to the ever improving search functionality with top results.
* Sign in: A seamless activation mechanism for Xbox by signing in on another device.
* Cortana: Cortana, Xbox Live’s virtual assistant, can be activated via voice control for in-game music playback and skipping.
* A Shuffle button in the player.
* A context menu for options such as Go to profile.
* A start screen playlist so you can get a glimpse of SC before signing in.
