SASSA ID Verification Link Online | E-KYC SASSA

To complete SASSA ID Verification or E-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) online for your SRD R350 grant, go to srd.sassa.gov.za. Go to the ID Verification / E-KYC Section.

📌 Step 1: Go to the ID Verification / E-KYC Section

  1. Scroll down to the section titled “Request Names and Surname Update” or “Update Personal Details”.

  2. If SASSA has flagged your application for ID verification failure, you will see a prompt to update or verify your identity.

📌 Step 2: Enter Your ID and Phone Number

  • You’ll be asked to enter:

    • Your South African ID number.

    • The mobile number you used during your application.

📌 Step 3: Receive Verification Link

  • You’ll get an SMS from SASSA with a secure E-KYC link to verify your identity.

  • This link is personalized and expires after some time, so use it promptly.

📌 Step 4: Complete the E-KYC Process

  • Click the link from the SMS.

  • It will open a form where you may need to:

    • Confirm your full name, surname, and ID number.

    • Possibly upload supporting documents (e.g., a photo of your ID).

  • Submit the form.
