Error code 107 on Samsung Smart TVs typically indicates a network connectivity issue, often due to problems with your TV’s internet connection. This can result from incorrect network settings, DNS issues, or a weak connection to the router.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check Network Connection
On your TV, go to Settings > General > Network > Network Status.
Ensure your TV is connected to your Wi-Fi network and has a strong signal.
2. Restart Your TV and Router
Power off your TV and unplug it from the wall for 1-2 minutes.
Restart your router by unplugging it for about 5 minutes, then plugging it back in.
3. Update Your TV Firmware
Go to Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.
If the TV can’t connect to the internet, update the firmware via USB:
Download the latest firmware for your TV model from the Samsung Support website.
Transfer the firmware file to a USB drive and insert it into the TV’s USB port.
Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now > USB.
4. Set a Manual DNS Server
Navigate to Settings > General > Network > Network Status.
Select IP Settings > DNS Setting > Enter Manually.
Enter a public DNS like 8.8.8.8 (Google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).
