Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Must be a citizen of a non-EU country.

Academic Standing: You must have an average grade of at least 7 out of 10 (or “Good”) from your last graduated school.

Age Limits: Generally up to 35 years for Bachelor’s/Master’s and 45 years for PhD (though some 2026 updates suggest flexibility, these remain the standard benchmarks).

Excluded Fields: Scholarships are NOT awarded for Medicine, Dental Medicine, or Pharmacy.

Important Tip
For Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, the courses are taught only in Romanian. If you don’t speak the language, you must take the free one-year preparatory course first. PhD students have the option to study in English or French depending on the specific university.
