Rocket League Ranked Playlists Offline | New Season Highlights

Ranked playlists are currently offline because Rocket League Season 21 (“Pursuit in Paris”) is launching today, December 10, 2025.

During the transition between seasons, Psyonix temporarily disables competitive matchmaking to reset ranks and distribute end-of-season rewards.

What You Need to Know:

  • The Cause:

    • Season 20 ended today, and Season 21 is beginning. This is a scheduled outage, not a server crash.

  • Launch Time:

    • The new season officially kicks off at 9:00 AM PT / 5:00 PM UTC today.

  • What to Do:

    1. Restart Your Game: If you are still seeing the error after the launch time, fully close and restart your game client. You likely need to download the v2.63 update (released yesterday) or a smaller hotfix to see the new season.

    2. Wait 30-60 Minutes: Even after the official start time, servers can be unstable or “playlists offline” for nearly an hour as millions of players try to log in at once.

New Season Highlights (Season 21)

Once the servers are back up, you will see:

  • New Arena: Parc de Paris.

  • New Rocket Pass: Featuring the “Corlay” and “Magnifique” car bodies.

  • Ranked Changes: A new Ranked Heatseeker playlist is being added for a limited time (Dec 10–17).
