📊 Grading System for Kerala SSLC 2025
The Kerala SSLC follows a 9-point grading system. Each grade is based on the percentage scored in individual subjects:
A+ (90–100%)
A (80–89%)
B+ (70–79%)
B (60–69%)
C+ (50–59%)
C (40–49%)
D+ (30–39%) – Eligible for SAY (Save A Year)
D & E (<30%) – Not eligible for promotion
New Rule for 2025:
From this year onwards, students must score a minimum of 30% in the theory component of each subject to be declared pass, in addition to the total mark requirement. This move aims to raise academic standards and ensure students have a strong grasp of core subjects.
🏫 After the Result: What’s Next?
After receiving their SSLC marks, students can apply for Plus One (Class 11) admissions through the Higher Secondary Centralized Allotment Process (HSCAP). The admission process typically begins shortly after results are announced.
