PUBG Server Maintenance Today | PUBG Patch Notes

PUBG (PC) is currently undergoing its major weekly maintenance for Update 40.2 today, Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Here is the schedule and what you can expect in the new patch.

🕒 PUBG Maintenance Schedule (IST)

Note: Console maintenance is scheduled for next week, March 19.

📝 Update 40.2 Highlights (9th Anniversary)

This update marks PUBG’s 9th Anniversary, bringing festive changes and a major collaboration return.

1. 9th Anniversary Festivities (Rondo Map)

• Chicken Man Hunt: A “Chicken Man” NPC now roams Rondo. Hunting him grants Lucky Eggs, which contain Level 3 gear or the rare 9th Anniversary Ghillie Suit (Party).

• Anniversary Draw: You can find pop-up stores in Rondo to spin a prize wheel using Lucky Eggs.

• Atmospheric Changes: Look for drone shows in the sky and decorated containers/Care Packages across the map.

2. Aston Martin Collaboration Returns

The popular Aston Martin vehicle skins are back in the Workshop.

• New Items: Includes expanded customization options and the new Emergency Extractor Pickaxe.

• Special Crafting: You can now craft these vehicle skins again using Aston Martin Tokens in the Workshop.

3. Gameplay & Map Changes

• Crowbar Removal: All locked doors that previously required a Crowbar have been replaced with standard doors. Crowbars and their specific storage boxes have been removed from the game.

• Secret Room Buff: Secret rooms now have a chance to spawn high-tier utility like the Jammer Pack, Emergency Pickup, and Zipline Gun.

• UGC Mode: New “Subzero” items added, including the BZ Grenade Launcher and Thermal Protection Suit.

💡 Troubleshooting Tip:

If you try to log in after 2:00 PM IST and get a “Connection Error,” ensure you have downloaded the update on Steam. The patch size is expected to be around 10–12 GB. If the download doesn’t start, restart your Steam client to force it.
