To please Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, on Friday August 20, devotees will observe the second and last Pradosh fast of Shravan. Pradosh Vrat is observed on Trayodashi Tithi of the month according to the Hindu calendar. Pradosh Vrat on Friday is also known as Shukra Pradosh Vrat. According to religious beliefs, Lord Shiva is adored and the desires of the devotees are quickly fulfilled.
