To activate the card and choose your PIN, visit usbankfocus.com or download the U.S. Bank Mobile App. Log in, then select your checking account from the Accounts menu on the Dashboard.
How Do I Activate My US Bank Focus Card
For the best mobile banking experience, it is recommended logging in or Get the App.
- From the main menu select Manage cards
- Select the card requiring activation
- Select Activate Card. If you have multiple cards awaiting activation, choose the one you’d like to activate and select Continue
- Provide your card information and last four digits of your SSN, then select Activate.
To activate your debit card using online banking:
- Log in, then select your checking account from the Accounts menu on the Dashboard.
- Choose Card controls, then Activate card.
- Enter the required card information, then select Activate.

Text/Email – Sign up to receive email or text alerts when funds have been deposited to your account or when your balance gets low.

ATM – Perform a balance inquiry at an ATM
Set up automatic payment
Once you’ve set up automatic payment, we’ll provide you a confirmation page to review. We’ll tell you when your first automatic payment will start, the autopay details that were selected, and a reminder to pay the current month’s payment due. To get started, choose the experience that works best for you.

- Select Bill payments at the top of the page, then choose Pay bills & U.S. Bank accounts.
- Locate the account you want automatically paid, then select Show details.
- The details are displayed on the right side of the page. Select Autopay set up now.
- Provide the following information. Once done, select Start autopay. We encourage you to review the terms of service before selecting Start autopay.
- Amount: Choose how much to pay. Options include minimum payment, statement balance, minimum payment with extra, or other amount.
- Date: Choose when you’d like the payment to be delivered. This is considered the day the payment is made (i.e., transaction date).
- Account: If you have more than one account on file, select the one you’d like the payment to pull from.
