Not Logged into Rocket League Servers Error Fix

Not Logged into Rocket League Servers is a very common and frustrating error in Rocket League. Since the game is now under Epic Games, the official status is the first thing to check.

⚠️ Rocket League Server Status

According to the Epic Games Public Status page (which includes Rocket League), all systems are currently reported as Operational, including Login, Matchmaking, and Game Services.

✅ Immediate Fixes (Most Common Solutions)

Since the servers appear to be up, the issue is likely a temporary glitch or a local connection problem. Try these steps in order:

  1. Restart the Game and Device:

    • Completely close Rocket League (don’t just quit to the menu).

    • Reboot your PC or console.

    • This simple restart often clears the temporary connection bug.

  2. Restart Your Router/Modem:

    • Unplug your router and modem for about 60 seconds.

    • Plug them back in and wait for your internet to reconnect. This resets your network connection and clears out any outdated IP/DNS data.

  3. Sync Your System Clock (PC Users):

    • If your computer’s date and time are off by more than a few minutes, it can prevent the game from establishing a secure server connection.

    • On Windows: Right-click the clock in the taskbar > Adjust date/time > Make sure “Set time automatically” and “Set time zone automatically” are ON, and then click the “Sync now” button.

⚙️ Advanced Troubleshooting (If the Above Fails)

If you are still getting the “Not logged in to Rocket League servers” message, try these deeper fixes:

  • Verify Game Files (PC):

    • Epic Games Launcher: Go to your Library > Click the three dots next to Rocket League > Select Manage > Click Verify.

    • Steam: Right-click Rocket League in your Library > Properties > Installed Files > Click Verify integrity of game files.

  • Check Firewall/Antivirus:

    • Your security software might be blocking the game’s connection. Temporarily disable your Firewall and Antivirus to see if you can log in. If you can, you will need to add Rocket League and your Epic Games Launcher as exceptions.

  • Flush DNS Cache (PC):

    • Press the Windows Key + R.

    • Type cmd and press Enter.

    • In the command prompt window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. Then try restarting the game.
