March might be a little light on holidays, but there is plenty to celebrate in the month’s additions to the Prime Video catalog. The return of Sneaky Pete and the debut of The Dangerous Book for Boys top our list, but they are just the first on a strong slate. 1. Sneaky Pete (Prime Original), Season 2 — March 9
From the creator of Justified and Executive Producer Bryan Cranston, Sneaky Pete follows Marius (Giovanni Ribisi), a con man who is dragged back into the role of Pete Murphy when two thugs — believing he’s Pete — threaten to kill his “family” (headed by Margo Martindale) if he doesn’t find the millions stolen from their dangerous employer. 2. The Dangerous Book for Boys (Prime Original), Season 1 — March 30
The best-selling book serves as the inspiration for a heart-warming, family-oriented show. A boy struggling with life after his dad’s death finds lessons in a book the father wrote for him and his brothers. The Prime Original series debuts with a six-episode season. (2018, TV-Y)
3. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets — March 1
Luc Besson (The Fifth Element) directed this effects-filled sci-fi blockbuster. Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne play special agents out to save the vast metropolis of Alpha from a sinister force. Based on the long-running comic book Valerian and Laureline. A Prime exclusive. (2017, PG-13)
4. Zathura: A Space Adventure — March 1
A mysterious board game teleports three battling siblings into outer space, where they must figure out how to work together to get home. If that sounds a bit like Jumanji, that’s because it’s based on a book by the same author. Jon Favreau (Iron Man) directs, and pre-Twilight Kristen Stewart stars. The Hollywood Reporter called it “that rare beast — a family film that even childless adults can enjoy.” (2005, PG)
5. The Durrells in Corfu, Season 2 — March 26
Everyone’s favorite British ex-pats return for six new episodes of gentle humor and romance. For those who haven’t seen season 1 (and you should!), a brief outline: In the 1930s, a widow (Keeley Hawes) in financial straits decides to move her family to the Greek island of Corfu. The new home is beautiful, but rustic in the extreme, and the family struggles to fit in with the locals. (2017, TV-PG)

Ben Stiller stars as a father taking his son on a tour of colleges — a journey that prompts him to rethink his own life choices. Elle Magazine called Brad’s Status “pure movie magic.” Mike White, screenwriter of School of Rock, wrote and directed. (2017, R)
9. Power Rangers — March 9
Go, go, Power Rangers! The campy kids show grows up, but not too much, in a reboot of the long-running franchise. In comparison with previous Power Rangers incarnations, the writing is more credible, the effects more spectacular and the acting far better, thanks to the presence of stars like Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa. 10. The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature — March 3
Surly the squirrel and his fellow Liberty Park denizens are back in the sequel to the 2014 animated smash. This time around, the animals must stop the mayor’s plan to turn their home into an amusement park. Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph and Katherine Heigl are among those actors providing the voices.
